Calculated Shipping for Areas Outside of SYD-MEL-BRI
With our goal being to help Australians make their homes more beautiful, we want to get as many amazing products out there as we can and never want to make a dollar off of shipping fees. For all areas outside of Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane we will simply pass on our shipping costs to you, allowing you to calculate them on site and decide if you're still happy with the purchase.
Being a furniture store, our goods are bulky and often stored in third parties warehouses or with our wholesale partners. We take great care in selecting partners who not only have great product but also impeccable service. With this in mind, whilst we can guarantee a delivery time frame we aim to dispatch goods within 48 hours and can commit to communicating clearly the status of your order whilst setting realistic expectations from the outset.

When it comes to some smaller products and linen or home wares items, we may source some products from overseas. In these scenarios, delivery times could be several weeks. We will do our best to clearly mark these items and make it clear up front that this will be the case.
As a general rule we do not accept change of mind returns due to the bulkiness of our goods and expense we incur in offering economical delivery along with the challenges in storing these products. However, we offer 30 Day Returns on linen products and any products which are not as described or damaged.
Order cancellations can be made up until the point that we process your order. Given we endeavor to ship stock to our customers as quickly as possible, this is typically done immediately upon receiving the order. If the order has been processed we request that you reject delivery of the goods. When they are received back into our or our partners warehouse we will issue you a refund. If the delivery is not refused or delivered under ATL (authority to leave), we would need to charge initial shipping & return shipping fee, which will be deducted from the final refund.
Change of Mind (COM) - Return and Refund
As a general rule we accept change of mind returns, but each case will be accessed individually by our support team. All claims of COM should be made within the 30 days of goods getting delivered. Claims for COM can be made by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org, with the details of the order, including reason for return. All COM returns are subject to the following terms:
- The items must be unused and undamaged, disassembled and repackaged in line with the guidance noted below.
- The COM must be requested within 30 days of delivery of the item.
- The customer is responsible for assisting in the adequate return of the products to Utopia Home.
Please do not send the goods without written approval from the Utopia Home support team. Our support team would let you know the return shipping and restocking fee applicable for the order. Once your claim is accepted and return shipping and restocking fee is agreed, the team will share the return label or book the return pickup depending on the size of the goods. Your final refund will be less costs of initial shipping, return shipping and restocking fee. The customer is responsible to disassemble the goods and pack them in the original packaging. The carrier will not pickup if the item is not packaged correctly. Note: Even though the original shipping is free on the order, its not free to us as a business, the support team will calculate the original shipping fee applicable for your order, which will be deducted from the final refund.
Note: In the even of returns under COM or damage, the customer is responsible for disassembling the goods and pack them in the boxes. In the event of COM, the customer is required to pack them in the original box only. For damage returns, if the customer do not have the original boxes, they can procure the boxes on their own to pack the items, but will need to share the below information with Utopia Home support team
